This interactive and practical full day workshop will provide a theoretical basis for your clinical reasoning when working with patients with hand and upper limb conditions. The workshop is aimed at new graduates, therapists interested in hand therapy, and therapists new to the field. The program for the day includes an anatomy refresher, review of healing timeframes and assessments that determine our intervention, discussion of common upper limb conditions, and a practical splinting workshop, including the opportunity to fabricate a splint.
Coordinated by Yvette Pickering, this workshop will be presented by experienced
Occupational Therapists working in hand and upper limb.
