WAOTA Students welcome Anthea Jarvis as our November presenter for professional development. Anthea graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2016 with the WA OT Association Dux Award. Since graduating Anthea has worked across the aged care and disability sectors. She is currently a community OT at Better Rehab in which she works with people who have disabilities across the lifespan. Anthea has a special interest in chronic pain. In 2019 she attended an international conference on updated treatments for chronic pain. Anthea also enjoys assisting clients in developing emotional regulation skills, and is currently studying to specialise in Positive Behaviour Support.
