The WAOTA student committee is happy to welcome Maddison Balk who works in community paediatrics and the disability sector. Maddison graduated from Curtin University in 2015 and has been working in paediatrics, mental health and disability for not-for-profit and private practices across Perth. Maddison has developed expertise in pediatric and disability mental health, sensory processing and regulation, and feeding therapy. This evening she will be sharing her knowledge of the important role OTs have in mealtimes and the different types of feeding therapies OTs use to assist clients with feeding challenges.
