NDIS – The Fundamentals

If you are new to the world of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) or working in the space but not feeling confident with how to support a client to gain access to scheme, have a successful planning meeting or make the most of an NDIS plan then this course is essential for you.
Hosted by health professional and NDIS participant Danielle Loizou-Lake, this interactive full day course will provide you with the information and resources you need to better understand the NDIS and become a great practitioner in the space. Danielle is an engaging presenter with a wealth of real life examples to illustrate when the NDIS works well and where it can go awry.
Danielle is a Project Lead with National Disability Services, currently working with Department of Health on improving the hospital experience for people with disability. In 2020 she started Paper Planes Support Coordination, a social enterprise to support people to make the most of their NDIS plans.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement and Health Promotion and is currently undertaking a post graduate studies in Population Health.
