NDIS – The Fundamentals – 2024

The NDIS is always evolving and if you are new to working in this area it can be overwhelming and confusing.

This full day, NDIS Fundamental in 2024 course is delivered by dynamic presenter, NDIS participant and expert Danielle Loizou-Lake.

You will learn about:

  • Reviews

You won’t be a NDIS expert in 1 day, but this course will give you all the information you need to know, to work effectively as a provider.

About the Presenter :-

Danielle is a social services, health, mental health and disability professional with extensive experience in strategy, consumer engagement and service re-design.

She is an expert facilitator who specialises in community and consumer involvement to improve service and delivery. She has worked extensively with WA government agencies, NGO’s and the community services sector, including disability, health, mental health, FDV and housing.

She also holds extensive knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and provides consulting to organisations on how to operate effectively within this marketplace. In 2019 Danielle

founded a successful NDIS Support Coordination organisation providing services for people with disability and mental illness.

Danielle has worked in the disability and health sectors for 20+ years.  She has held management roles with National Disability Services and service providers.  She founded a NDIS support coordination organisation in 2019, which successfully supports people get the best from their NDIS plans.

She also produces systemic advocacy submissions for disability advocacy and health organisations.  As well, she is a disability rights advocate and was appointed a delegate to the United Nations for the Convention on the Rights of persons with Disability in 2023.
