WAOTA Students are back this month with another interesting PD that is guaranteed to cover a unique field of practice our members have never seen before.

We will welcome the wonderful Jessica Alexander to the Curtin campus for an informative presentation on her role as a mental health OT specialising in mother and baby inpatient mental health.

Jessica graduated from Curtin in 2015 and has worked in the public hospital system ever since. She completed a six month stint on a surgical ward following graduation before moving into various mental health settings across Fiona Stanley and Armadale Health Service. Jessica now works predominantly with mothers in the post natal period on the ward at Fiona Stanley.

Join us on 13 October at 6:30 on the Curtin campus to hear all about Jessica’s experience in mental health practice and her current, very niche role.
