Sleep in OT
May 14, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Dr Sue McCabe is an occupational therapist, working as a clinician, a researcher and a sessional OT teacher. She graduated in Perth in 1980, and has worked across a range of settings – including spinal and neuro rehab, community paediatrics, and equipment design – in the UK, the Northern Territory and Perth. Last year, she completed her PhD at ECU’s School of Medical and Health Sciences, with her research focus on sleep and thermoregulation in children with cerebral palsy. Sue’s passion is sleep, and the important connections between the rhythms of sleep and activity, sleep and environments, and sleep and health and well being . She sees sleep and circadian science as important ‘OT Business’, and is very happy to be able to share this with OT students in Perth.
