Advancing Your SOS Feeding Skills

September 2, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The first evening meeting will be our PD on Monday 2nd September at 6:30 – 8:30pm. PD commences 6:30pm followed by our AGM. We’ll keep the AGM as brief as possible and will be proving snacks.

The PD presentation, ‘Advancing Your SOS Feeding Skills – Summary of Three Advanced Courses’ will be presented by Jenna Cooper, OT from Rocky Bay. The presentation aims to give you an insight into three of the advance training modules offered by SOS, including modifying the basic course for those with ASD, modifying the basic course for older children and using food to develop oral motor skills. While this presentation is not intended to replace completing the training modules, it will give you an insight into what the training modules contain and ways Jenna has been able to incorporate it into her work at a Perth based organisation.

Location: Edith Cowan University Mount Lawley Campus 10:308 (Building 10, Level 3, Room 8). Visitors parking is marked in green on the map and best access is from Central Avenue.
