Ben Cole is an Occupational Therapist who works at Silver Chain. Ben trained in the UK and after graduation worked in acute care on rotation for 4 years including 12 months in community OT. After relocating to Australia Ben spent over 5 years at the Department of Communities (DSC) as part of the adult therapy team (North) in the provision seating, positioning and pressure care for people with complex physical and intellectual disabilities. Ben will present a practical session on wheelchair seating/pressure care including some of the common challenges and varied solutions faced by clients and therapists in this field.
